One Man Band started about 20 years ago, as a subgroup of the Information Technology Association of Southern Arizona (ITASA), which was one of several business clusters in the Tucson area.
It was created to meet the needs of very small tech businesses, which need to do many of the same functions as larger companies, but with minimal staff.
One Man Band provides a way for members to stay current on new developments, and to learn about outside services for functions such as accounting or marketing, which are outside the primary focus of company owners.
Our members are IT people, developers, web masters, and others doing computer work as a business. We often refer clients to each other based on specific areas of expertise, such as PC, Mac, networks, printers, and even hand-holding, an important service for many older and/or less-skilled computer users.
